20th Century Fox has pledged a green light for "The Happening," a spec script thriller that M. Night Shyamalan wrote and will direct in Philadelphia this August. Fox has earmarked the film for a June, 2008 release.

Of all the Shyamalan movies I have seen they have been really good. I don't see why this one would be bad.
