ScreenEast.co.uk reports that Warner Bros. Pictures has set up The Dark Knight for filming at Leavesden Studios and that filming is also taking place at Herts & Beds.

The Chris Nolan-directed sequel, starring Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gyllenhaal, is expected to do a lot of filming in Chicago as well.

It opens in theaters on July 18, 2008.

Can't wait!=D The first one was terrific, so I can't wait to see what they've done with the story. My only concern i whether they do just as good a job with the second as they did the first. I hope they don't wreck it.

I'm still kind of iffy about them making a sequel. The first movie was really good and it doesn't really seem right that they should make a sequel unless it's good like the first one.

I love love LOVE batman he is the coolest person,I have lots of toys and dolls.I even have the Bruce Wayne Manor lol.He also has nice wardrobe.hah.

I think Batman should make an appearance in Pirates 3. That'd be hott.
