LOS ANGELES -- The lawsuit against Jennifer Love Hewitt alleging breach of contract reads like a Hollywood treatment.

Hewitt, who stars on CBS' "Ghost Whisperer," "plays a young woman with the unique ability to talk to `earth bound spirits' who seek help in `resolving unfinished business with the living,'" it reads. "In real life, however, Love Hewitt is having troubles `resolving unfinished business with the living.'"

Handprint Entertainment LLC, Hewitt's former management firm, claims the 28-year-old actress has reneged on a 2002 oral agreement to pay a 10 percent commission on all deals negotiated during the company's tenure.

The contract should include earnings from "Ghost Whisperer," Handprint said in the complaint filed in Superior Court.

    if it was an ORAL agreement then they have nothing against her. if there was no paperwork or signitures or anything then there's no case. lol, no those boobs arent fake she just had a kid! lol

    How sad that they have to bring down, what seems like, such a great person! All their interested in is that money, of course, who wouldn't be!!! And even they should know that an oral agreement is as good as the paper it's written on!!

    OMG Can't they just get another actor/actress to pay their bills? Maybe pick up a job at McDonald's for some extra cash??? FFS! A verbal contract! HA! They're out of their minds if they think they can get away with that unless they recorded the conversation, they don't have squat!

    The sad reality of it all is, if she's paid them anything in the past to suggest she made a verbal agreement they can hit her up for this money.
