I absolutely love The Mummy and The Mummy Returns so I'm excited to see this 3rd one. However, I'm very broken hearted that they are replacing Rachel Weisz. So that just sucks and it's not going to be as good. I'll still watch it but I'll be sad too.

This seems to be a cool movie i would like to see a trailer before i decide. and ONLY if ALL the same actors and actresses are in it. and its just not Brenden freaser trying to get work out of the only GREAT film he was in

The first movie worked because it had an awesome script, a great cast, and was just plain fun because of it all. The second movie was hyper and unfocused and ruined some of the great mythology of the first movie. Studios should realize when a story is dead instead of trying to keep it preserved for continuing box-office returns.

I do remember watching the Discovery Channel and in the far east they also have pyramids. Not quite like how Egyptians did it but they do have them. I don't recall any mummifications though.

I agree. It's just not the same having a different character playing Rachel Weisz but at least Brendan Fraser is in it and I am going to love the fact that JET LI will be in it and Michelle Yeoh. It is going to be very interesting!!

the only reason i liked the first and second was because they took place in Egypt... i always like studying ancient Egypt... reading heiroglyphs, book of the dead, jackel-headed anubis and all (well most of) the other gods aswell... but now that the "Mummy" is going to another ancient culture where they DIDNT mummify ppl... interesting...

i dont know if i really want to see it, the second one was just a rip off of the first one, this one is probably the same

oh jeez, so much hype about this movie and it isn't even set in Egypt! I'm a bit disappointed, I mean, everyone knows that the Mummy films are about Egypt, what the hell were they thinking of in taking the story to the Far East?!
