Universal Pictures has pre-emptively purchased Chris Morgan for the fourth installment of the Fast and the Furious.

Morgan also penned last summer's "Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." On the global success of "Tokyo Drift," which grossed $158 million worldwide, the studio tapped Morgan to write a fourth installment of the franchise.

It is not yet decided on the name of the film, or where it is set, but they plan to keep things rolling overseas to fully take advantage of the worldwide audience. Perhaps the new flick will even take place in several different cities, it could be called Fast and the Furious: Where in the World Did I Park My Damn Car? and maybe co-star Ashton Kutcher or Sean William Scott.

And for the one most popular question everyone has asked, it is to be rumoured that Vin Diesel will star in it!

    man 4get that.. i mean i want a 4th one but not sum comedy... i want sum serious action around cars, drugs, girls and stuff like dat.. its about time they need 2 make a real Fast and the Furious!!!

    sounds like fun... can't wait... huge fan of the series and enjoyed the movies... BUT I DON'T WANT ASHTON KUTCHER OR SEAN WILLIAM SCOTT IN THE FILM...

    What I want to see is Vin Diesel and Rob Cohen the director of the original directing. He is the best and He made the series what it is along with Vin. Paul Walker's character I wouldn't mind seeing a cameo, but I don't like where his character is plot-wise. The second movie was terrible and I don't think he can live that down.

    i have it 2 own and hav watched it sooooo many times!
    cant wait for the new movie..... well thats if it does go ahead!
    sooooooo hope there is another new one n hopefully we see vin, sean and lucas!

    I would love to see vin in another fast and furious. Maybe he should meet back up with paul walker. I love vin in everything. I have seen all of his movies.

    Thats so true, the only reason I even bother to watch Tokoyo Drift is cause Vin Diesel shows up in the end like he will be in the next movie. I won't be the same if they change the actors from the first two movies.
