Johnny Knoxville files for Divorce

Johnny Knoxville filed for divorce yesterday. The 'Jackass' star - real name Philip John Clapp - cited irreconcilable differences against his wife of 12 years, Melanie Lynn Clapp, in papers filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Knoxville, 36, is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their daughter, 11-year-old Madison, whose name he has tattooed across his chest. He has offered to pay an unspecified sum of child support.

The papers state the couple married on May 15, 1995 and separated a year ago on July 17, 2006.
