No More After "Shrek 5"

All of my friends saw Shrek the 3rd. and said that is was soooo DUMB! I won't be seeing that one. but the first and second ones are pretty good. I think they should STOP making Shrek movies! No one liked the 3rd one...so why are they making more??!

I liked the first the best, the second was pretty good too, but I just think the third looks incredibly stupid. one of my friends saw it, and hated it, so I dont see how they could make five, thats just ridiculos, I guess they dont realize that you can push things too far.

number 2 was the best i really hated the 1st and havent seen the 3rd!

i personally loved all the shreks. the third was not as funny as the first two, but it was still good. So I am all in for four and five.. as long as they can keep the steam going, but most series looses steam after three.. so i am not sure...

noo they shouldn't make anything past #3 cuz the movie's are not that good anyway.

Shrek 1, were better than 2 and 3, I were disappointed in no 3, though they could've done better, instead the mood were sad throughout the movie that's suppose to be a kids movie...and where's the music?

I have to agree they need to stop with the Shrek thing. I have two kids myself and they were barley into this latest movie. Doesnt impress them watching human figures, they want to see the rudse oger and the talking donkey. The first one was AWESOME, then the second one was good for the whole family,but honestly thats where they should have stopped. I'll probably go an see the next one if my kids(by the year 2010 will be 7 an 5) are still intrested in it. Good luck is all i have to say.

This last movie was the worse..it wasn't even about shrek having kids it was mainly around the kid arthur. I had to watch it twice and the second time I was so bored out of my mind..I think its even worse when you have to force a kid to sit down during the movie..and there not even paying attention to the movie. My daughter loves shrek but this movie she didn't even get through half of it. They just need to stop while there ahead.

the first and second shrek was pretty good but the 3rd one was stupid becasue you knew what was going to happen next. so i think its pretty stupid to have 4 and 5 when they might be boring.

Shrek does come off a series of books, although I've never read them. Dreamworks twisted the series into the movies we see today.

Most likely Shrek 4 will be in actual 3d like coming out of the screen. I was at this seminar about this new 3D stuff that is coming out and I can tell you its amazing. Their already transforming the first 3 shreks into this product and unlike most places where it can take a year to render just the basic animation these guys can render a movie in 3D in about 1 to 2 weeks. Not only that but for those theaters that are willing to upgrade and they sure as hell should the 3D requires none of those stupid glasses. Pops right out of the television screens or theater screens on their own.

They should stop while they are ahead... I like the third one but doing a fourth is streching it and the 5th one will be going to far... If it was based off a series of books like the Harry Potter movies... Then the next installments would be warrented. But seeing as there is no real plot line to base these movies off of anymore they really just need to go out on top.

Shrek 2 was a great movie. Even though the first one have a better plot, at least they still kept some originality in the 2nd. (Also, based on imdb top 50 animations, this one is number 39, which isn't great but isn't bad because theres lots of great animations)

urgh... shrek 2 was bad enough.... shrek 3 was a pointless film. the story does not have 5 chapters... they just want to keep making more cos they make huge ammounts of money from it. theres been nothing driving this series except greed since the first one finished.
