No More After "Shrek 5" According to DreamWorks, the fifth installment in the popular "Shrek" franchise will be the last. The company plans to produce "Shrek 5" after the fourth film is released in 2010.

But DreamWorks Animation so far has committed only to one more film, spokesman Rich Sullivan said in an interview. "The story itself has five chapters," Sullivan said. "Based on the success of the first three films, at the very least, the next one, 'Shrek 4,' is warranted."

"Shrek the Third," which cost $160 million to make, has taken in $643.6 million in worldwide ticket sales since its May 18th release.

Even though we might not see "Shrek 5" for a while, Antonio Banderas already promised that Puss in Boots will have a brother in the film.

    All of my friends saw Shrek the 3rd. and said that is was soooo DUMB! I won't be seeing that one. but the first and second ones are pretty good. I think they should STOP making Shrek movies! No one liked the 3rd one...so why are they making more??!

    I liked the first the best, the second was pretty good too, but I just think the third looks incredibly stupid. one of my friends saw it, and hated it, so I dont see how they could make five, thats just ridiculos, I guess they dont realize that you can push things too far.

    Shrek 2 was the best,1 was ok,3 kinda disappointing...Maybe part 4 will make up for part 3.

    aaahhh man, shrek 3 was absolutely rubbish!!! i dont advise any1 2 c it!! it didnt hve a gd plot and it wasnt funny at all!! 2nd one was the best!!!

    I DIDNT LIKE SHREK 1 MAINLY BECAUSE OF HOW IT ENDED(PRINCESS FIONNA WASNT SUPPOSED TO BE AN OGRE AFTER TRUE LOVES 1ST KISS AND YOU ALL KNOW THAT!)SHREK 2 WAS THE BEST!HAVENT WATCHED SHREK 3.

    i personally loved all the shreks. the third was not as funny as the first two, but it was still good. So I am all in for four and five.. as long as they can keep the steam going, but most series looses steam after three.. so i am not sure...

    shrek 3 is a total dissapointing one...i always wish that Shrek 4 will be much much much much better than the 3rd Shrek

    Shrek 1, were better than 2 and 3, I were disappointed in no 3, though they could've done better, instead the mood were sad throughout the movie that's suppose to be a kids movie...and where's the music?

    that is crazy! they r coming out with 5. it got boring after 2. wonder if the next one will be better. very intresting story though.
