Melanie Brown's rep has confirmed that actor Eddie Murphy is the father of her 2 month-old daughter, Angel, PEOPLE reports.
According to rep Liza Anderson, the DNA paternity test that Murphy, 46, took at a Beverly Hills medical facility on June 11 were received by Brown yesterday.
"He's the baby's father, it's official," a source close to Brown told the magazine. "The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his."
Mel B, the former Spice Girl known as "Scary Spice," dated the actor last summer. On April 3, Brown, 32, welcomed her daughter into the world and gave little Angel Iris Murphy Brown the comic's last name. While she has maintained that he was the father, Murphy was vocal about the fact that he was certain. In December, the Golden Globe nominee told a Dutch television show: "I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test."
He has neither contacted Angel nor made any attempts to meet the little girl since her birth.
