Next "Shrek" reserves 2010 release date

The fourth movie in the "Shrek" franchise has become the first project to lay claim to a specific release date in 2010.

Currently using the working title "The Next Shrek," the DreamWorks Animation production has staked out May 21, moving into the same mid-May position that "Shrek the Third" occupied this year when it opened on May 18.

Also aiming for 2010, but yet to nail down dates, are such films as Warner Bros. Pictures' "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" and Sony Pictures' 23rd James Bond movie.

    from wat i heard shrek was somekind of a book or somthing. and there was like 5 of them. so yeah... that's what they're going at.
