i love this show it is awsome

actually that lame ass post football show is what killed Futurama,the network people would pre-emp the show so those past their prime jock straps could analyze the football game.so then people whoose lives don't revolve around football would get only half or no episode at all of Futurama!

comedy central have signed an agreement to produce 15 brand new episodes and depending on how they go there could be more.

These 4 extended episodes coming out are direct to dvd.

Its not an actual feature film, its just like that Family Guy film: Family Guy Presents: Stewie Griffin - The Untold Story, same thing.

Still in doubt if it`ll be worth watch The Simpson.

Sorry,but there was only seasons for Futurama.How much possible a long featured movie of "the Simpsons of the future"? :-D.

They are making straight to DVD films; after which they will split the movies into 16 full episodes with new material to fill the time. If these films make the big bucks I don't know why they wouldn't resurrect the series. Especially, if they're puitting the episides on Comedy Central. As I heard it, Greoning has more leeway to do whatever he wants to do (more uncensored stuff). CROSS YOUR FINGERS FOLKS!!

The reason Futurama stopped being made was not the choise of Groening, or any of the Futurama team, it was Rupert Murdoch (you know, that guys that owes too much of the media world - Fox, Sky, and the rest) said he didnt want any more made. I dont know why. But he clearly made the wrong decision!

Futurama lasted 4 seasons not just one and it ended years ago.I hope you people dont think those films will come out in theatre, its straith-to-DVD stuff.

but i don't want it to end. every freaking show i like get's canceled like after/during the first season. that's so gay.

Actually The movies will be split into seperate episodes on Comedy Central and then the complete movie will be released on DVD. (Answer to previous comments. Anyway I'm excited for this and hopefully if a lot of people buy the DVD's and watch the episodes we can get nw seasons! (Fingers crossed)
