"The Nines" Poster

The poster for John August's "The Nines" has finally been released. In it, we get a big picture of Ryan Reynolds, with a green string wrapped around his wrist. The tagline states: "You never know when your number is up."

In the film, a troubled actor, a television show runner, and an acclaimed video game designer find their lives intertwining in mysterious and unsettling ways.

August is making his directorial debut with "The Nines." While he might not be an experienced helmer, he's had a pretty impressive writing career. Some of his past work includes "Big Fish," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "Charlie's Angels." "The Nines" is scheduled to hit theaters on August 31st, in limited release.
