Underworld Prequel Shock Till You Drop is reporting that Sony’s Screen Gems believes there is enough blood left to squeeze in the “Underworld” franchise for an Underworld 3. The studio is poised to make an announcement soon. Word broke over the weekend at a special webmasters panel taking place during the San Diego Comic-Con. Chapter numero three, it’s rumored, is a prequel, furthermore, French FX artist Patrick Tatopoulos will be at the helm. This will mark his directing debut.


I myself am fan of the Underworld movies. With only 10 minutes left of the second one I could have sworn it had maybe only been 30-45 minutes in I was so caught up in it.

If they do do it, it seems like it's going to be a prequel which could be interesting.

    As far as I know, they plan to pull the story of Lucian and Sonja from the "Blood Enemy" book. So basically it would be the story of how Lucian fell in love with Viktor's daughter and ended up starting the war. If they were desperate to have Kate, there were some really cool parts in the boo that took place in present day. If they do it right, the prequel could be just as good as the first two, possibly better. However, I wouldn't bet on it.

    I hope its a prequel about selene and not everything else. maybe it will be the story of how she became to be a vampire when she was younger.

    Of course there's a 3rd movie! And its likke about Selene's life before, thats likke why its called a prequel. I am an Underworld fan too ^^.

THE FIRST TWO WHERE SOME OF THE WORST CRAP EVER TO BE PUT ON FILM. they where right up there with donnie darko and the transformers and save the last dance and kull the conquerer. goes to show people will watch any piece of crap that comes all wrapped up in a studios pretty little bow. masses enjoy, remember the shepherd has the popcorn and junior mints at the lobby. sheep, i tell you sheep!
