I couldn't agree with you more man. Finally someone pointed out what I said to myself after seeing the previews namedropping attempt. Although I really liked the back story regarding the Predators relation with Earth ancient civilizations and the role the Aliens played in the whole "Hunter" right of passage trial ceremony, it was very cleaver and the main thing that made the movie watchable.

First one was very disapointing indeed. I'm a great Alien fan, and seeing the trailer for the 2nd AvsP i'm just expecting an entertaining action movie. What's missing in these AvsP movies is the "horror" atmosphere of the Alien movies.

#@^&#%@$!*&!!!!!! This looks good. I hope the movie is as good as the trailer promises it to be. I still can't get over what "Shrek the Third" did to me, where all of the good parts in the movie were put together to form the trailer. :/ I guess this is one of those movies that shows that R-rated films are somewhat better than PG-13, even though you shouldn't be basing what you see just on the "Since it's rated G, it HAS to be worse than that rated-R movie."

hell yeah i loved that movie and all because of the cast. Sanaa Lathan and Raoul Bova ruled!

this has to be better than part 1, which just about killed off 2 very succesful franchises that i enjoyed with one move, the dreaded yet family friendly pg-13. it's amazing what crap a studio will pull for a buck.
