Remember the Crocodile Hunter

Remember the Crocodile Hunter

Everyone PLEASE remember Steve Irwin on September 4th, 2007. He was one of my heroes! I know Terri Irwin has appointed November 15th. But please say a prayer for this family! I think Bindi Irwin is doing something on TV for it. Wear your bracelets if you have them! I have my green one and my blue one! Animals have NO voice. We need to help them. Conservation is SO important!

Croc hunter was really inspiring, he died living his life doing what he loved ,teaching about animals. His daughter Bindi is caring on his legacy, trying to teach children about animals and how unique they are. What a man! He instilled in his children values, love and respect for animals and people.

He was my hero I loved him. He always made me respect crocs even though they scare the living day lights out of me. He always said not to fear them because their not going to kill you on sight. He's such a carrying man and we should all pray for his family and think of them as well. WE LOVE YOU STEVE!!

  • Prayers tomorrow 4th September for Steve Irwin as a great guy like him should never be forgotten. A prayer will be said for his wife Terri Irwin and family. We must all do our bit to help all animals no matter where they are as without them our lives would mean precious little.

  • I agree with that, also....

    1) PLANT MORE TREES
    2) USE TOILETRIES/COSMETICS THAT ARE AGAINST ANIMAL TESTING
    3) DON'T LEAVE THE FREAKING LIGHT ON!
    4) DON'T USE THE FREAKING LIGHTS WHEN IT IS DAYTIME AND THE CURTAINS ARE SHUT!
    5) RECYCLE PLASTICS AND CARD
    6) DRIVE ECONOMICALLY
    7) PREVENT ANIMAL CRUELTY
    8) WALK INSTEAD OF DRIVING OR TAKE LOCAL TRANSPORT

May the legend of Steve Irwin live on forever.

  • i totally agree with this person.. steve irwin was hero for all animals and his work must be continued in some way or another... let us all keep him in our prayers and support his family in their eforts to conserve and protect wildlife.. probably now on everybody's lips they are sayin things like 'its a pity he died' or 'darn that sting ray'... remember him not the way he died but the way he lived... afterall, he died doing what he loved most..

~Steve irwin, may his soul rest in peace~

  • Steve Irwin was awesome! When he died it was almost like losing a friend. He knew what he did was dangerous and could get hurt doing it but he did it to teach us all about conservation. I know he loved animals and would never do anything to harm them. I watrched him for about 10 years.

  • Thank you for this.....my kids and I enjoyed watching Steve and have truly missed him. It's nice to know that some people out there still remember enough to bring it to others attention. My son even brought up at dinner tonight about it being a year this Tuesday....they still hold him close to their hearts and he will be in our memories forever.

  • Yeah, I'm sure taking a baby crocodile from the wilderness and putting it in with another captured crocdile- much larger, then putting the two in a box- hmmmm, something tells me they didn't need saving. Well, the baby did AFTER he threw them in the box together, and he knew that- he said it. It was all for entertainment. I think that's what animals were for him. "Let's see what happens after I poke this snake with this sharp twig." The majority of the animals that he encountered didn't need saving until HE did something!!! That's why that manaray or whatever got him. They don't sting unless bothered. I knew a friend from Australia who knew what he did, so she and all her friends never watched the show. When I did one time, I was absolutely appalled!

  • You know, he risked his own life. The kind of stunts he pulled were really imprudent. Wild animals are meant to be left alone. They have defense mechanisms like you cannot believe. He put a baby crocodile in a box with a large one and said "Her life is in my hands, now." That bugged me. He treated animals terribly. They're not toys, or entertainment, or a cage fighting show!!! That poor baby crocodile, or his own weren't the only lives he risked. How about a baby human? Animals are dangerous, and he should have never put his baby with a full-grown alligator. How could someone do that?! It's not like the kid has a choice. He's already proven himself not the brightest, what if the baby biffed it? Now Jeff Corwin is a good guy. He's respectful to wildlife. You should really watch his show. And as for Steve Irwin, you know, I will never forget him- he's pulled enough crap to make sure of that. It's never happy when someone dies, but he did this to himself! Please realize that.
