Even though "Stop Loss" is still months away from being released, we already have the trailer for it. The story centers on a soldier (Ryan Phillippe) who returns home to Texas and is called to duty again in Iraq through the military's "stop-loss" procedure. The soldier then refuses to return to battle.
In the trailer, we see Phillippe glad to be returning home, but before he knows it, he is already scheduled to go back to Iraq. Feeling that the Army broke their agreement, he decides to fight this injustice.
"Stop Loss" is helmed by director/writer Kimberly Peirce, whose previous work includes the hit drama film "Boys Don't Cry." Abbie Cornish and Channing Tatum also stars in this movie, which is scheduled to hit theaters on March 28th, 2008.
