There has been loads of news regarding Lakeshore and Sony Screen Gems' third Underworld, none of which has been officially announced. All of that comes to an end today at the news hit that the official title is Underworld 3: The Rise of the Lycans, which is set to be helmed by Patrick Tatopoulos. Kate Beckinsale, who starred in the first two films, will not be in the prequel. Read on for the skinny.

I remember Kate Beckinsale saying she wasnt going to do any more vampire movies so it doesnt surprise me shes not in it. This movie should be worth checking out since I like werewolf and vampire movies, and this one has both. Havent read anything on it yet, but Im assuming this will be about Lucien (sp?) revolting against Victor. Ill probably check this out.
