Two "Martian Child" Clips

Here are two clips from the upcoming drama film "Martian Child," starring John Cusack. The story revolves around a writer (Cusack), who is crushed by the death of his fiancée, thus decides to adopt a 6-year-old boy in an effort to create a family. The boy, who desperately wants a father, is troubled by the idea that he's from Mars.

The first clip shows Cusack and Amanda Peet teaching the adopted boy how to play baseball, while the second one shows the boy proving to his new father that he is a Martian and one of his natural abilities is to taste colors.

"Martian Child" is a very emotional movie, filled with great scenes and lots of lessons. One of the two screenwriters actually ended up adopting a three year old girl after writing the script. Hopefully this movie will convince other potential parents to adopt older kids as well. "Martian" is scheduled to hit theaters on November 2nd.
