    "Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd. His skin was pale and his eye was odd. He shaved the faces of gentlemen who never thereafter were heard of again!" This film is a dream come true. I had to read the play for a class, then I saw a video of one of the original stage productions with Angela Landsberry, and then I co-directed, starred (I played Toby) and wrote the entire score in a disco style adaptation of the play for the same class. This film is a dream come true. It will complete my full circle of Sweeney-ness.

    it's not that i do not like burton films, they are beautiful in their own depressive way, but don't you think that depp should concentrate more on films that could emphasize his acting skills, instead of experimenting with films that resemble to a puppet show?
