We just received five more posters from the upcoming "Sweeney Todd" musical. There are two of Johnny Depp as Todd and three of Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett.

The movie revolves around a wrongfully imprisoned barber (Depp) in Victorian England who sets out to seek revenge on the judge (Alan Rickman) who imprisoned him.

Very recently, Paramount has asked director Tim Burton to make a few edits to the film, due to so much blood and gore in the footage that they have seen. With situations like this, we can expect to see an unrated version of the movie on DVD, which I'm looking forward to. "Sweeney Todd" is scheduled to hit theaters on December 21st.

    the internet is for bitching about movies you dont like to people who like them. and b. i am tired of people obsessing over crap like sweeney todd just because depp is in it and ass holes like the fucker from high school musical. i am intrigued to see how badly they ruined this play, but i wont go out and see it in theatres, or on dvd, i aint gonna pay a fuckin cent for this piece of shit...

    he doesnt even look the part, and mrs. lovett isnt driven by love...what a bunch of horse shit...and depp-burton has proven good before, but this time its gonna blow they're gonna take the genius of the play and turn it into propeganda bull shit. fuckin burton...this one is one that i dont even know is gonna be worth seeing, and johnny depp is not the best actor ever, anthony perkins is
