When I saw Warner Home Video’s REST STOP last year I remember thinking, “Oh yeah, I loved JOY RIDE when it came out!” The film was a blatant rip-off of the classic thriller written by JJ Abrams (it’s true!) that remains a cult classic to this day. When Raw Feed announced REST STOP II I couldn’t believe it… THIS CRAP is a becoming a franchise and JOY RIDE isn’t? Thank God someone had their thinking cap on because a sequel to JOY RIDE is just what the doctor ordered, but hopefully it wont be the end of the road for the franchise…
