Springfield's Lucas Grabeel was invited to appear Tuesday on "Live With Regis and Kelly," a morning talk show airing at 9 a.m. on ABC. His appearance dovetails with Tuesday's DVD release of "High School Musical 2," in which Grabeel stars as Ryan Evans.New York is the latest stop on Grabeel's international travel itinerary. Most recently, he's been in Japan to shoot his latest movie, "Lock and Roll Forever." The movie, which centers on an up-and-coming girl band from Japan, is produced by Sony Music Entertainment and "HSM's" Bill Borden and Barry Rosenbush.Grabeel most recently traveled to Australia for "High School Musical 2" promotions.

In other news, the song "You Got It," which Grabeel wrote and sings briefly in "HSM 2," is now available on iTunes. A music video he and friends produced is available at his Web site, www.lucasgrabeel.org. He also sings "Let It Snow" on the new "A Disney Channel Holiday" CD.
