Johnny Depp has told how he'd be front of the queue to see his new film Sweeney Todd - if only he wasn't in it! The Pirates of the Caribbean star says he's desperate to see the latest work by his old director pal Tim Burton but just can't bring himself to watch his own performance on screen. "I would love to see the movie and what Tim has done with it but unfortunately I'm in it," says Depp. "I have a real problem watching myself. That's the worst thing about working with Tim so much - I never get to see any of his movies."

    i know where he's coming from: i cannot STAND watching myself on anything, except if it was from when i was like 2 years old. anything after that, it's goodbye from me

    i totally understand!
    for our Drama GCSE we have to film ourselves and then watch it after.It's so difficult because you always look at the thing you did wrong and worry about what other people think.I hate it !

    oh!I understand him too, hehehe i wouldnt see myself in a tim burton movie , i mean just look how he looks like, and well in all of his movies he is kind of crazy hahaha, but well. johnny you havnt seen many movies of Tim, you have done a lot with him!so.. that is a shame :( becasue tim burton´s movies are just gold.

    I guess I understand. He's probably worried that he'll analyze everything he did wrong in the movie (not that there would be many mistakes) and that would take away from the overall experience. It was a good movie, though... maybe someday he'll watch it
