The trailer for the upcoming JJ Abrams-directed "Star Trek" film is currently playing in theaters with Abrams' "Cloverfield." As expected, a bootleg version of the trailer hit the web, but now Paramount Pictures released a good quality version.

The trailer features the construction of the USS Enterprise, of which you can see a hi-res shot here.

The new movie chronicles the early days of James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) and his fellow USS Enterprise crew members. It is scheduled to hit theaters on Christmas (December 25th).

    Yeah, I saw that when I went to the cinema today. It was alright, doesn't show much footage of anything particularly interesting though..
