The 2008 Oscar nominees were announced bright and early this morning in LA and No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood led the nominations with eight each including Best Picture. We're thrilled Ellen Page was nominated for Best Actress for her work in Juno and George Clooney for Best Actor in Michael Clayton. Other highlights include Casey Affleck for Best Supporting Actor in The Assassination of Jesse James, Johnny Depp for Best Actor in Sweeney Todd and Cate Blanchett for both Best Actress in Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Best Supporting Actress in I'm Not There.
