Fate of last Ledger film unknown

This is a blog from Seattle, WA, about the last film that Heath Ledger was working on. It mainly discusses the fate of the film and the bad luck that director Terry Gilliam has experienced in his career as a filmmaker.
Rest in peace Heath. I hope you knew how much you were admired. Heath Ledger (1979-2008)
The story reads as follows:
ad-luck director Terry Gilliam's current star: Heath Ledger
At the time of his death, Heath Ledger was partway through shooting a new movie, "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus," for director Terry Gilliam. The Guardian reports that the film had finished a 20-day shoot in London just last weekend and had moved to Vancouver, B.C., to shoot special effects scenes.

Other stars of the $30 million film are Christopher Plummer and Tom Waits.

For director Gilliam, one of the original members of "Monty Python's Flying Circus," this is just the latest in a string of movie bad luck. The guy is truly cursed.

To recap:

"Brazil" -- Gilliam's riff on "1984." The studio producing this picture hated the bleak ending and convoluted story structure. They delayed releasing the film for months, preferring a version with a "happy" ending. Gilliam prevailed, but the studio's cut was shown on TV.
"The Adventures of Baron Munchausen" -- Delayed by cost overruns and production problems. New management at Columbia Pictures decided it didn't like the film and it was given a very limited release.
"The Man Who Killed Don Quixote" -- Injuries to an aging star, freak storms and more doomed this film, which was to star Johnny Depp. It was never completed but a fascinating documentary, "Lost in La Mancha," came out of the experience.
And now this latest tragedy. Sad for Heath Ledger and sad for Terry Gilliam. No word yet on what will happen to "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus."
