Lena Headey (300), Sean Bean (The Lord of the Rings) and Rupert Friend (Young Victoria) have signed up to star in director Geoff Sax's (White Noise) supernatural chiller "Black Death."
Set in an apocalyptic medieval world, "Death" details the story of a band of brothers whose quest is to hunt down a necromancer against the backdrop of the first outbreak of bubonic plague in England.
Friend will play a young monk sent to investigate rumors of people being brought back to life, while Bean plays a mercenary priest who arrives in the same village. Against the backdrop of the peaceful village lies a pact with the forces of darkness, orchestrated by the village ruler (Headey).
Penned by Dario Poloni, the project is scheduled to shoot on location in Germany and the UK.
