Brand New "Funny Games" Clip

Pretty much all of the marketing for "Funny Games" has been disturbing and this new clip is no different. In it, the two intruders (Michael Pitt and Brady Corbet) force Naomi Watts to take her clothes off as her husband (Tim Roth) reluctantly watches.

The story revolves around a middle-class housewife Anna (Watts), her husband George (Roth) and their 10 years old son Georgie on their weekend vacation retreat near the lake. Upon moving in, they are immediately submitted physically and mentally to the tortures and death enforced upon them by two young unexpected visitors.

"Funny Games" is written and directed by Michael Haneke, who also directed the original 1997 film by the same name. Haneke's goal is to retell a story of our violent society and how depictions of violence reflect and shape our culture. The new movie has recently appeared at the Sundance Film Festival and is coming to theaters on March 14th, in limited release.
