How Helena’s grandfather was finally recognised as a true hero

The grandfather of Sweeney Todd actress Helena Bonham Carter is to be named Righteous Among the Nations by Yad Vashem, the Holocaust remembrance authority.
The honour for Eduardo Propper de Callejón, the wartime Spanish first secretary in Bordeaux, follows a seven-year campaign by his family. Ms Bonham Carter, currently shooting a Harry Potter film, hopes to be in Jerusalem on March 12 for the dedication ceremony.
