DreamWorks has just released a restricted trailer for the upcoming horror film "The Ruins." Watching it, I'm not exactly sure why it's restricted, but it is definitely loaded with some never before seen scenes.
The story revolves around a group of friends whose leisurely Mexican holiday takes a turn for the worse when they, along with a fellow tourist, embark on a remote archaeological dig in the jungle, where something evil lives among the ruins.
While all the marketing for the movie, including this trailer, avoids mentioning who the bad guy is, a recent USA Today article revealed that it is a plant. "It has intellect and abilities beyond those of the average Venus flytrap." "The Ruins" is scheduled to hit theaters on April 11th.
