The fourth poster for the upcoming horror film "The Ruins" has been released. While it doesn't look like the other ones, it still shows the roots of a tree/plant on a person's face.
The story revolves around a group of friends whose leisurely Mexican holiday takes a turn for the worse when they, along with a fellow tourist, embark on a remote archaeological dig in the jungle, where something evil lives among the ruins. For more on this movie, check out the restricted trailer.
While all the marketing for the movie, including this trailer, avoids mentioning who the bad guy is, a recent USA Today article revealed that it is a plant. "It has intellect and abilities beyond those of the average Venus flytrap." "The Ruins" is scheduled to hit theaters on April 11th.
