The trailer for the upcoming Aaron Eckhart comedy/drama "Meet Bill" has been released, featuring Eckhart in a very unusual role. The actor has always played the jerk or the cool guy, but in this movie, he seems to be a successful man with very low self-esteem.
The actual story revolves around a man (Eckhart) fed up with his job who finds his wife (Elizabeth Banks) in bed with a local news anchor (Timothy Olyphant). He regains a lost sense of self by mentoring an unruly teen and finds inspiration in an intriguing young saleswoman (Jessica Alba).
"Meet Bill" is co-directed by Bernie Goldmann and Melisa Wallack, who are making their directorial debuts. The movie premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and was picked up for distribution. It is now scheduled to hit theaters on April 4th, in limited release.
