man, i may have been born in '91. but i have seen more patrick swayze movies than my mom and i loved every single one of them. Patrick, i am a BIG fan and i send my prayers out to you and your family.

This is so sad. I'm Patrick's fan, too. I still watch his movies over & over again until now. I love Dirty Dancing the most, then Ghost, & To Wong Foo. I still would like to see Patrick in new movies & hoping for more movies to come, especially if he is dancing in it.

Well what in the world does that have to do with anything? It doesn't say he is ailing because of lung disease or Emphysema,Did I miss something here?

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest,most difficult to treat cancers,with a very short life expectancy once diagnosed.I have lost 3 friends to this cancer-all dying within 3 months.
I loved Dirty Dancing-one of the most erotic and exhilarating movies I've ever seen.

I have enjoyed many of his movies. I hope he gets well and returns to acting soon.

This news made me cry for hours on end. Hey i might be only 21, but Patrick Swayze is still hotter then ever. My prayers and thoughts are with the Swayze family and friends. He is tough and strong and will be this. We all habe to think this way, it will give him and his family and friends strength. I'd have to say that my favorite movies that he acted in would be dirty dancing, red dawn, ghost, and city of joy. I just recently saw city of joy, it is a real tear jerker, but an excellent movie. I love you Patrick, please get better soon!! I can't wait for your new tv show to air. Take care!!!

I was definitely saddened by the news regarding Patrick Swayze's prognosis. My prayers go out to Mr. Swayze and his family in this time of crisis.

I'll have to say my two favorite Swayze films are Dirty Dancing and Ghost.

Ok since Petes1234567 wants to call me out as a LIAR here is where I got my "facts" from as far as I have always know the New York Post keeps their shit pretty straight but hey Petey bot is the expert here.Whatever anyway Here is the quotes.

"The 55-year-old Dirty Dancing actor was diagnosed in late January with pancreatic cancer that has spread to other organs. Swayze has been receiving treatment at Stanford University’s cancer center in Palo Alto for radical chemotherapy.

“He was told he could have two more treatments, but his cancer was not responding. In short - they held out little hope for a cure,” said an insider.

The NY Post has confirmed the news with his publicist, saying, “He’s suffering from pancreatic cancer, which could tragically bring down the curtain on his remarkably diverse career… The average life expectancy is six to nine months, with only 4 percent of patients living more than five years.”

So I guess Patrick's own publicist is full of shit too

I was very saddened to hear this today.I know he has not been in alot of movies lately,I think the last one I saw was 11:14.But he is still an amazing actor.My thoughts and prayers will surely be with him and his family over the next coming weeks.
