In the cards
Hollywood loves movies about gambling, especially set in Sin City.
There's "Oceans 11," "Bugsy," "Go," "Vegas Vacation" and "Casino." Even "Rain Man" included Dustin Hoffman's amazing mathmatical-minded character Raymond helping his pal Charlie Babbitt, played by Tom Cruise, "break the bank" at Caesar's Palace by using his "special talents."
The newest film set in Las Vegas is called "21" by Columbia Pictures and opens nationwide March 28. It's a fact-based story about six Massachusetts Institute of Technology students who were trained to become experts in card-counting and subsequently took Vegas casinos for millions in winnings.
The film stars Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth, Laurence Fishburne and Jim Sturgess.
Sturgess, 26, is the young actor with the lead role, playing Ben Campbell, the student leader of the group who begins to have second thoughts about his quick-money plan.
