Heath Ledger: Broker Than a Joker?

Could it be that one of the hottest actors in Hollywood barely had a pot to piss in when he died? If reports out of Australian papers are to be believed, Heath Ledger was only worth $145,000 at the time of his death.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the total value of Heath's estate is "$145,000, with furniture and fixtures worth $20,000, a Toyota Prius worth $25,000 and $100,000 in miscellaneous bank accounts." It also names Heath's father, mother and sisters as the only beneficiaries, but acknowledges his two-year-old daughter Matilda Rose as an interested party.

What this doesn't jibe with is family sources are telling TMZ that Matilda will be "well taken care of." So, where's the money?

Stay tuned ...

Okay people, you need to calm down here. First of all, all Lisa is doing is posting an information that has been told by the media everywhere. She is not making this up nor trying to be sensacionalist about the subject. It is indeed intriguing that as a successful actor as he was, he left such a small amount of money, but then, everything regarding his death is actually intriguing. But, in Hollywood, most things are not what they looklike. It is very sad and I am aware that after someone dies the person needs to be left alone, but, on the other hand, people from the showbiz are aware of all these things, meaning, that they know even before getting into this business, they will be talked about dead or alive, as simple as that. And I am telling you this as one of Heath Ledger's biggest admirers. R.I.P.

OK ,I need to jump in here real quick to address a couple things.1)To Alex The main reason was not to make Heath look bad or anything anyone that even half way knows me knows I am the last person that would ever want to do that.2)I will keep my mouth shut which I rarely do to the types that wanted to say crap like he is dead let's move on.3)To the last guy,I didn't write this story and for your info the (unreliable) source that I got this from is TMZ which is the FIRST people that broke the story about Heath when he died.4) My whole reason for posting this is that alot of people are very concerned that his baby will not be taken care of that is the main point of this.I don't think most people even have a living will at the age of 28,Yet when you are living in Hollywood I am sure its a different story,We don't know all the facts yet,Everyone just wants to be sure Matilda is secure in her future.

that is the most unlikely story and as well as the source having fabricated facts or just done no research whatsoever it is not true, for example heath ledger was making two films in succession dark knight and dr parsannuss or something with that name and was earning millions from these films, so what the creator of this article is doin is seeing if anyone will believe this bull. a sad fact of life someone attention seeking adds lies upon lies.

It doesn't really matter @ this point... but it's a bit unnerving if one of the HOTTEST actors in hollyweird didn't have that much money in the bank... just saying!

It doesn't matter, no I'm not knocking Heath, he's one of my favorite actors. The thing is that they're exploiting his death for their personal profit.
