King Falls for My Bloody Valentine

Sin City's Jaime King is taking a lead role My Bloody Valentine 3-D, Lionsgate's remake of the '80s slasher film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, she's playing Sarah Palmer, "a woman who has married her teenage sweetheart's nemesis, and the pair have a child together. When she and her first love are reunited, it becomes clear that she still carries a torch for the man."

King is the first actor to join Patrick Lussier's film. She also recently starred in David Arquette's The Tripper.

Principal photography begins May 12th, expect more casting announcements to come in and look for the film on January 23, 2009.
