'The Craft' Sequel Officially Dead in the Water

We learned today that the sequel to 1996 teen witch movie, THE CRAFT, is officially dead in the water. Don't keep your hopes up on seeing a sequel anytime soon. In the first film a newcomer to a Catholic prep high school falls in with a trio of outcast teenage girls who practice witchcraft and they all soon conjure up various spells and curses against those who even slightly anger them. We'll keep you posted if anything changes.

Technically, you could think of "The Covenant" as a sequel/spinoff, since it was the male version of "The Craft". Both movies were awful, but that's just me.
