Woman Arrested Near Cusack's Home

A woman who already had a restraining order filed against her by actor John Cusack, showed up his home Sunday night -- only to get arrested.
Emily Leatherman took a cab (!) to John's house, but, when she refused to pay the fare, the driver called the cops. The police showed up and John alerted them that he recognized the woman in question as his stalker. Emily was picked up by the po-po and booked on suspicion of felony stalking, violating a restraining order and petty theft. She is being held on $150,000 bail.
Now, see I totally know what's going on in this girl's mind. I call it "The Lloyd Dobler Effect". Emily, like me, is an a crazy fan of John's, specifically of his Lloyd Dobler role in Say Anything. The thing is, like the Brooke Shields character on Friends, Emily must not realize that Lloyd is character and John is not him. I know it's hard -- I've always wanted to believe that a guy as perfect as Lloyd Dobler existed, but John was playing a character. He didn't come up with the idea to hold the boom box over his head, outside Diane Court's window, by himself. In fact, Cameron Crowe wrote the movie, so he probably did.
I feel for you, Emily. If you ever get out of jail I hope you find your Lloyd Dobler.
