The trailer for the upcoming Samuel L Jackson thriller "Lakeview Terrace" has been released, featuring Jackson as a cop who harasses his neighbors (Patrick Wilson, Kerry Washington).

In the film, a young couple (Wilson, Washington) has just moved into their California dream home when they become the target of their next-door neighbor, who disapproves of their interracial relationship. A stern, single father, this tightly wound LAPD officer (Jackson) has appointed himself the watchdog of the neighborhood. His nightly foot patrols and overly watchful eyes bring comfort to some, but he becomes increasingly harassing to the newlyweds. These persistent intrusions into their lives ultimately turn tragic when the couple decides to fight back.

"Lakeview Terrace" is directed by Neil LaBute, the man behind the terrible "Wicker Man" remake, but also behind the very entertaining "In the Company of Men." His new movie is scheduled to hit theaters on September 19th.
