Vanilla Ice Arrested: Vanilla Ice Mugshot

Robert Van Winkle, best known as hip-hop’s early 90s embarrassment Vanilla Ice, was arrested in Palm Beach County, Florida last night. The “Ninja Rap” star was booked on a domestic battery charge. (Totally unrelated, but why do people smile in mugshots? You’re going to jail, what are you cheesing about? You are not taking a class picture.)

Laura Van Winkle called the police on Thursday and reported that her husband was hitting and kicking her, the Palm Beach Post reports.

“He started yelling at me for going out to buy a bedroom set, in front of my daughter,” she said, per the report. “I’m sorry, I can’t say any more until I talk to an attorney.”
