"The Dark Knight" Will Keep Heath Ledger's Scene

"The Dark Knight" Will Keep Heath Ledger's Scene

Warner Bros is currently showing "The Dark Knight" to test audiences, who seem to be complaining about the same scene in the movie, which is being described as inappropriate. The scene shows The Joker, played by Heath Ledger, hiding in a body bag. It is obviously not meant to reflect Ledger's recent, tragic death, but audiences seem to be too sensitive to handle it. So, with editing still going on, it has been assumed that Warner Bros would remove the scene completely.

Now, MovieHole got in touch with a source close to "The Dark Knight," who revealed that nothing of Ledger's will be cut from the movie, including the bodybad scene. "I know for a fact that that scene is in the film," said the source. "I also know that WB has made no such mandate and that Chris [Nolan] is honest when saying that he will not change what was intended with The Joker."

Sounds like good news to me; I would hate to see any of Ledger's performance be compromised due to a tragic event. Let's not make a bad situation, worse.

Good. As I said before, theres always going to be something controversial. They should keep it in because it shows us how malicious he is.

Please dun delete the scene, let the audiences cry, let them applause the Joker's Last Laugh, We want to salute him on screen for the talent gone too soon & the unforgettable man who will be greatly missed. :(

Well if they gonna take the scene out of the movie... @ the very least they should put in one the DVD as a 'deleted scene'... there are some die-hard (excuse this term)fans out there like myself who would like to see it for the sake of the flow of the movie.

Probably WB's way of making money by adding it to the DVD when it's released. LOL. I'm glad they are keeping the scene in. None of this man's final performance should be cut. I have a good feeling about this being his masterpiece!

Why so serious? Life is a tragic comedy and I'm the killing clown! Call me Joker, that's I am, kill me I wanna die but not before slashing lotta lives before. I'm the white-faced ninja searching to kill the bad big bat! What if I'm really dead, that not lessen my legend, nevertheless, it increases it. Heath, belongs to a breed of men who previously did the Joker, Cesar Romero and Jack Nicholson to name a few. The Joker always was kinda Nemesis for Batman, his "creator" and worst enemy, he's absolutely evil. Have you ever dancing by the moonshine?"

  • It's not like the scene was written to cause Heath Ledger's death or anything.
