The full length trailer for the upcoming animated "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" has been released. The August 15th theatrical debut of the movie will be followed in the fall when the TV series premieres on Cartoon Network, followed by airings on TNT.

"Clone Wars" will feature such characters as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padme Amidala, along with brand-new heroes like Anakin's padawan learner, Ahsoka. In the film, Sinister villains – led by Palpatine, Count Dooku and General Grievous – are poised to rule the galaxy. Stakes are high, and the fate of the "Star Wars" universe rests in the hands of the daring Jedi Knights. Their exploits lead to the action-packed battles and astonishing new revelations.

    Love the tagline... Star wars... as you have never seen before. You mean, Star Wars didn't have enough CGI the first time around? The new Star Wars was PURE CGI, so much CGI that they said "Forget the actors, let's go CGI." They should have done that with Episode 1, 2 and 3. That's why I hated the new episodes too, way too much CGI. The original rules and I wish George Lucas would STOP killing the Star Wars by adding more and new story lines and added new footage. Will I see this, sure I will but I'll wait for the 10 year redux edition with added footage, new characters, new music, deleted scenes, enhanced images, new musical numbers as well as a new movie all together. If George Lucas had it his way, he would put a kitten in the Mona Lisa.
