Joel Silver Confirms that Justice League is No More

Joel Silver has confirmed to CHUD at the Speed Racer Junket that Warner Bros big screen adaptation of Justice League has been “tabled”. Before you get too excited, this doesn’t mean the film is officially canceled, but I’m pretty sure that:

A. It won’t be happening anytime soon.
B. If and when it does happen it will have a new cast, and maybe possibly a new script and director.

I don’t think fans were opposed to seeing the Justice League of America up on the big screen. I think everyone was turned off by the direction it was heading as evidenced by the leaked storyline and signed but never announced cast members.

    i wasn't that big on the cast...but i think if they did get christian bale and other GOOD actors that fit the discription perfectly and can act good then it could be a terrific movie...i do hope it comes out

    Cast choices were terrible, now the only one who could play batman is big C.Bale no one else would be believable, Superman should again be Brandon Routh. Without these it would be confusing, two people playing Batman at the same time but look completly different. However this would make great movie, if no Bale and Routh, then maybe a CGI movie?

    i wasn't 2 big for the cast choice but if they do get a new cast then they should get the cast from the movies like christian bale, brandon routh and others from the upcoming flash and wonder woman movies

    Good because the cast choices we're horrible. It would have ruined the movie. They should do like Marvel and make films for Green Lantern and The Flash first.
