An insider tells Life & Style magazine that Tom Cruise will return to reprise his role as Ethan Hunt in a fourth "Mission: Impossible" movie. "Tom will make M:I 4 once Paramount greenlights the script," the insider said. "There will most definitely be another Mission: Impossible!"

Until this is confirmed, this should be considered a rumor. At the same time, Variety repots that Cruise's United Artists studio is desperately looking for a commercially viable franchise to get behind.

One project they are considering is a contemporary spy thriller to be directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale). There is a possibility that Cruise may star in that as well, just to give the film a little fan attention.
