America Ferrera is grateful she forged a career in acting so she could get out of a job as a bingo caller. The not-so-Ugly Betty star says she is petrified of the game after a riot nearly broke out when she worked as a bingo caller during a summer job. "One of my first paid jobs was a holiday job at this ranch in Malibu. We got to call bingo sometimes. But there is something about when you get people around free things that turns them crazy. One time there were two of the same numbers in the bingo wheel thing and it was just a riot. They thought we had rigged it and we had messed it up and we did not want them to win anything. They were getting out of their seats and coming towards us getting really angry about it. It was quite scary."
