It's only been a few months since all of the Cloverfield viral madness quieted down to a silent murmur. Well, J.J. Abrams just won't stand for any quietness on that front. Today, two photos from Cloverfield 2 have emerged from the depths. Is this the sound of the Cloverfield 2 Viral marketing campaign roaring to life? It just might be. Take a look at these black & white photos that seem to show a bunch of baby Cloverfield monsters scurrying across the ocean floor (didn't Abrams say that the original monster was a baby?):

I would assume that the same technology could be used for underwater exploration.

    But who knows?

If there really is a sequel, I'll watch it.

If these are real. Then is this the start of the 7-month guessing game that we had last year?

If this is true and not a wind up, then unless its very good, I fear it could suffer from the "law of diminishing returns" regarding sequels. I know that J.J. Abrams is an absolute fukkin genius! and this film wouldn't have been made if he hadn't attached his name to it. The only way for a sequel to be as good as the original is... (actually I'm stumped about how this could be bettered)

Doesn't that ship look like the submarine used in Titanic. You know the scene, near the beginning, they use "THIS" submarine to look for a safe in the Titanic. I could be totally be wrong, but who can agree with me on this one?
