CinEmpire got their hands on two shots from the upcoming Steven Soderbergh-directed Che Guevara films, entitled "Guerilla" and "The Argentine."
"The Argentine" begins as Che and a band of Cuban exiles (led by Fidel Castro) reach the Cuban shore from Mexico in 1956. Within two years, they mobilized popular support and an army and toppled the US-friendly regime of dictator Fulgencio Batista.
"Guerrilla" revolves around Guevara and his 1964 travels to New York City to address the United Nations.
The two pics have a combined budget of around $70 million and are both directed by Soderbergh, who is responsible for such films as "Erin Brockovich," "Traffic" and the three "Ocean's" movies.
