Martin Scorsese reunites with Leonardo DiCaprio for fourth time

On October 22, 2007, the Daily Variety reported that Scorsese will once again reunite with Leonardo DiCaprio on a fourth picture, Shutter Island. Principal photography on the Laeta Kalogridis screenplay, based on the novel Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane, began in Massachusetts in March 2008.
In December 2007, actors Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, and Michelle Williams joined the cast. The film is slated to be released on October 2, 2009.
