Moviehole has confirmed that Tom Cruise is in talks to star alongside Denzel Washington in Phillip Noyce's next action/thriller, which is entitled "28th Amendment." Cruise is said to play US President Ben Cahill.
The new movie follows the adventures of an American President (Cruise) that discovers the United States is actually being controlled by a super secret organization (run by Washington) that terminates those that get in its way.
Noyce is a controversial director, who is responsible for such films as "Rabbit-Proof Fence" and "The Quiet American." He also previously helmed "Patriot Games," "Clear and Present Danger" and "The Saint."
