FLIXSTER #11 Among PC Mag's Top 15 Sites for Movie Fans!

Just over two years old, the social networking site Flixster has grown into a vast online database of over a billion user-generated movie ratings. To rate a movie, simply click on the Rate Now button next to that particular film. Amuse yourself with the quiz questions, polls, actor bios, photos, movie trailers, and more. Create lists of movies to share with friends, or vote on the top news stories of the day.

Best Feature: Flixster Wiki, which lets you add or edit content on the history of movies.
Worst Feature: Some users may be wary over the site using their e-mail account's entire address book in order to send a Flixster invitation to all of their contacts.

    As a one of the faithfull user of Flixster, its a great accomplishment!

    but, i want to suggest something and please take this seriously. there are something that bother the hell out of me.

    First, Cut out all this Facebook, myspace craps, this is a genuine movie place, we dont need them, do we?

    Second, PLEASE upgrade your STAR rating! please take this seriously, i dont have any problem with 5 stars, but i feel more comfartable to give movies rate with a 10 star! am i the only one??

    Third, make a strict rules about people coming on here and torture us, movie goers! many people come and make profile which makes Flixtster looks crowded, but per se, they are only bunch of small kids who doesnt give a fuck about movies! it's a disgrace really!

    Fourth, im a fan of IMDB too, and it would be a pleasure for me if you guys here can add like a BOARD FORUM for individual movies board :)

    anyways, keep up the good job and surprise me!

    Basically well done flixster for doing so well! and PC magazine readers for being so astute.

    A really simple idea, well executed (and with the widget links to myspace/facebook etc, getting an even higher reach) social interaction at its best - despite its flaws - it's still one of the better ideas to keep in touch with what's going on and what people think of new films. Then there are the quizzes.

    BRAVO. here's to the next 2 million users...

    Flixter is a great site and I really enjoy what it offers: the most special feature to me are videos and photos :) Not to mention how many new things one can find out about movies, actors! Great project overall- keep up the good work!!!
